Beef with Mushrooms

Beef with Mushrooms

This is one easy beef recipe that you can prepare for your family. It does not requires too much process or ingredients to get done. You can either use fresh, dried or canned mushrooms for this. This time, I used dried mushrooms to get more mushroom flavor.

Here’s how to cook Beef with Mushrooms:

Ingredients:

1kg Beef (thinly sliced)
100g Dried Mushrooms (soaked in hot water for 10 minutes) (sliced)
5 cloves Garlic (minced)
1 small sized White Onions (chopped)
1 tbsp. Butter
1 tbsp. All-purpose Flour
2 cups Beef Stock
Salt
Pepper
Canola Oil
Parsley (for garnish)

Process:

1. Heat canola oil in a pot. Sauté onions and garlic.

2. Add in the beef. When it starts to turn brown, add in the mushrooms. Pour 1 1/2 cups of beef stock, cover and cook for about 25-30 minutes or until the beef becomes tender.

3. In separate pan, melt the butter. Add in the all-purpose flour and whisk until properly combined. Pour in the remaining beef stock and mix.

4. Pour in the cooked beef and mushroom from the pot. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for another 10 minutes.

Ready and Enjoy!

Note from Delish:

I have received a lot of recipe request for this dish. For this one however, I used dried mushrooms instead of the canned one. To prepare the dried mushroom, you just need to boiled some water and soak the dried mushrooms for about 10 minutes.
