Buttered Potato

Buttered potato will save your day. If you are in hurry and you wanted to prepare something easy and doesn’t require too much process and ingredients, this is a great recipe to try.

The combination of butter, garlic and thyme will make your taste bud crave for it. You can also substitute this to rice. You’ll still get the same amount of carbs that your body needs, in a more tasty way.

Note from Delish:

Trying to stay away from carbs? Or simply cutting off your carbs in take? This recipe I can suggest is the best substitute to rice. In order to get the perfect buttered potato, I suggest that you buy the smaller sized ones, in which you can only cut into two. If you use the bigger ones, it might take forever to cook. You can also use fat-free or lite butter if you are conscious about your body (like me). The best thing about eating potatoes is that it contains a good amount of Vitamin C, B6, manganese and Phosphorous which all best for your health.
