This is one popular version of Filipino chicken macaroni salad. During special occasions, it is always present on the menu list. It’s very easy to prepare, and don’t need too much effort to cook. Learn how to make Chicken Macaroni Salad and your family will surely love it.
Here’s how to cook Chicken Macaroni Salad:
400g Elbow Macaroni
300g Cooked Shredded Chicken
1 can (400g) Pineapple Chunks
1 small sized Carrot (finely chopped)
1 small sized White Onion (finely chopped)
1/4 cup Pickle Relish
1/2 cup Raisins (optional)
1 tbsp. Brown Sugar
470ml Real Mayonnaise
Shredded cheese for toppings
1. Boil water with salt in a pot. Cook elbow macaroni according to the packaging instructions. Drain.
2. In a large container, place the cooked macaroni. Add all the other ingredients, shredded chicken, pineapple chunks, carrots, onions, pickle relish, raisins and brown sugar.
3. Lastly, add the mayonnaise. Mix evenly.
4. Top with grated cheese before serving.
