Here’s how to make Crispy Fried Kangkong Leaves:
1 cup All-purpose Flour
1/3 cup Cornstarch
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Chili/Pepper Flakes
1 cup water
- Wash and clean the kangkong leaves. Remove excess water, and pat dry.
- In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, chili flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Then add in the egg and water. Mix and stir until the batter is smooth.
- Add a few cubes of ice.
- Heat some oil in a pan.
- Dip the kangkong leaves into the batter, and fry until golden brown.
