Do you have a kid who always crave for french fries? And you end up buying from fast food chains every day? Well, what you try to learn how to cook delicious and crispy potato fries at home? It’s definitely easy, and surely a healthy option for you and your family.
Here’s how to make Homemade Crispy Potato Fries:
Potatoes (as many as you want)
Cooking Oil/Vegetable Oil
Water (for soaking)
- Peel the potatoes.
- In order to make them into similar fries sizes. Slice off the edges thinly to create a flat base on all sides. Then cut into 4 slabs. Then lay down each slabs and cut into long french fries slices. (see video for more details)
- Put them in a bowl. Pour in some water and soak for about 15 minutes. Drain water.
- Heat the oil in a deep fryer. Set the heat to high. Fry for for about 5 minutes. Take it out from the fryer and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
- Set the heat to low. Put back in the fries and fry until golden brown.
Serve with some ketchup or any dip of your choice!
