Looking for some new salad recipe for the upcoming Noche Buena or for any special occasion at home? Here’s one salad recipe for you. So instead of using chicken, we will use the canned tuna flakes. What it makes it even more unique is we will be using the newest tuna in town, La Mia Tuna. You should give this recipe a try!
Here’s How to Make Tuna Macaroni Salad:
3 cans La Mia Tuna Flakes in Oil (drain oil)
400g Pineapple Tidbits
1 cup Shredder Carrots
1/2 cup Finely Chopped Red Onions
1/2 cup Chopped Celery
1 cup Shredded Cheese
- In a pot, add some good amount of water, add salt and drizzle some cooking oil. Cook the macaroni following the instructions on the packaging. Drain water, set aside.
- In a bowl, mix in the mayonnaise, onions, carrots and celery. Season with salt. Mix.
- Add in the tuna flakes and pineapple. Then pour in the cooked macaroni. Mix until thoroughly incorporated.
- Lastly, add the cheese. Mix.
Serve and Enjoy!

Since I wanted to try something new for the coming holidays, I tried this recipe and figured, it’s delicious. Not to mention that I used La Mia Tuna Flakes in Oil. Add sugar if you want your salad extra sweet.
