For us Filipinos, macaroni fruit salad is probably one of the most popular desserts that we prepare during special occasions. And since New Year’s eve is just around the corner, it’s time to learn how to make your own Macaroni Fruit Salad. It’s very easy and definitely delicious.
Here’s how to make Macaroni Fruit Salad:
450g Fruit Cocktail (syrup drained)
1 cup Nata de Coco
3/4 cups Condensed Milk
1 cup All-purpose Cream
1 cup Mayonnaise
2 tbsp. Sugar
1/2 cup Cheese (small cubes)
- Cook macaroni following the packaging instruction. Boil water, cook and drain.
- Combine the cooked macaroni and all the other ingredients in a bowl, condensed milk, all-purpose cream, mayonnaise, sugar and cheese. Mix well until properly incorporated.
- Refrigerate before serving.
Note from Delish:
Let’s accept it, our Media Noche or any special occasion won’t be complete if we don’t have macaroni fruit salad. Some may add raisins, but since I’m not quite a fan, I just didn’t add it on this recipe. Sugar is even option since we already used condensed milk.
