Palitaw

Palitaw

Palitaw is definitely one of the most popular glutinous rice flour delicacy in the country. It’s name comes from the fact that it floats when it’s ready. It even requires just four main ingredients. So it’s cheap and very easy to prepare. Something that your family will crave for.

Here’s how to prepare Palitaw:

Ingredients:

3 cups Glutinous rice flour
Muscovado
Sesame Seeds
Freshly grated coconut meat
Water

Process:

1. Put glutinous rice flour in a bowl. Gradually add water until it forms a dough.

2. Form the dough into flat round disks.

3. Boil some water in a pot.

4. Drop the dough disks one by one.

5. You know that it’s ready when it starts to float.
