Pancit Canton

Instead of getting yourself used to eating instant pancit canton, why don’t you cook one at home. It’s definitely easy and healthy, and absolutely no preservatives added. Here’s one simple Pork Pancit Canton recipe that you can prepare for your family this weekend.

Here’s how to cook Pork Pancit Canton:

Ingredients:

400g Pancit Canton
500g Pork
1 large sized Carrot (julienned)
1 large sized Sayote (julienned)
1 head Cabbage (strips)
1 large sized Onions (chopped, divided into 2 parts)
3 cloves Garlic (chopped, divided into 2 parts)
1 1/2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
Salt
Pepper
Canola Oil
Water (Pork Broth)

Process:

1. In a pan, sauté onions and garlic. Add in the carrots and the sayote. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes. Set aside.

2. In a different pan, heat some canola oil and sauté onions and garlic. Add the pork. Saute until it turns brown.

3. Pour a good amount of water. (enough to cover the pork). Pour in the soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes.

4. Add in the pancit canton. Keep mixing until the pancit canton is cooked. Add in the sautéed carrots and sayote. Then the cabbage. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Ready and Serve!
