Taro in Coconut Milk Dessert

Do you know that taro or gabi tastes so good when paired with sago, young coconut meat and coconut milk? You will definitely love this dessert recipe. Making Taro in Coconut Milk Dessert doesn’t take much of your time, cheaper and absolutely taste delicious. You can chill it before eating if you want it cold.

Here’s how to cook Taro in Coconut Milk:

Ingredients:

400g Taro (gabi) (cut into cubes)
1 cup Young Coconut Meat
1 1/2 cups of Cooked Sago (Tapioca Pearls)
1 1/2 cups Coconut Milk
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Water
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

Process:

1. Pour water in a pot. Add in the sugar. When it starts to simmer, add the taro cubes. Cover and let it boil for about 10 minutes.

2. Add in the tapioca pearls, and then the young coconut meat. Cover and cook for another 5 minutes.

3. Add the vanilla extract and coconut milk. Let it simmer without closing the lid.

4. Let it cool or chill before serving.

Ready and Enjoy!
